The timepiece displays a small eye, colored to suggest the time of day (a feature reflected in the watch’s title “Dawn West Dusk East”), rather than to accurately present it. Catling explains the thought process behind the design is to help us “slow down time (or at least make its passing less shrill),” which is a refreshing reaction to the ever increasing speed of society and daily life. The watch is the final model to have been released as part of the Mr. Jones “Masters of Time” series and is available in a signed, numbered edition of 100 pieces.
