There was plenty to celebrate for residents of Oklahoma City this Christmas, a first for the new franchise. The OKC Thunders not only won against the Denver Nuggets, but did so spectacularly with Kevin Durant’s 44 points, a season high for the player. Part of the Nike Christmas Day Collection, Durant’s brilliant yellow Zoom KD III finished the limited line, also called “Signal Your Color” collection, as the “yellow light”. In addition to the head turning colorway, the “No Yield For Yellow” Zoom KD III also include the usual signature elements – the 5 lightening bolts on the outsole for his team, the piano keys at the heel for KD’s love of music, and of course, the BF62 insignia where he scored 62 points at Barry Farms near Washington D.C., his hometown.
