“BLACK RUBBER BRICK (BRICK UP YOUR EARS)” by British Remains

Interesting concept. Not sure what I think about it....

The design makes reference to the fact that on average, Brits spend an astonishing 72% of their daily life surrounded by bricks. Moreover, bricks have retained a key prominence throughout British history; used as weapons of protest, shaping cities and creating some of the world’s most iconic buildings and even castles that have stood for hundreds of years, bricks have always been essential to the UK. The conceptual artwork here is decorated in black and has been carefully detailed, offering not only the look and feel of a house brick, but also the weight. Limited to just 20 pieces.
