“Final Cut,” is a project in which German curator Tobias Megerle engaged with a group of twelve Mahim woodcarvers to produce a series of one of a kind skateboards using the traditional carving method found in Mumbai, India. The aim of the twelve carvers was to transform skateboards into (still functional) but purely ornamental works of art. The skatebards are currently on display at The Loft art space in Mumbai.
